People who have nothing have everything

We started the morning at Masuwe with a client walk and the VF's. The weather wasn't the best but we still had fun. After brekkie we had a volunteer walk with Viti and Fumi where we went to a little river. They hunted baboon and the babboons were so cheeky and teasing the lions all the time by running towards them like "you caaan't catch uuuus" haha and when the lions ran they just SCREAMED haha stupid apes. We then went back to go to a rurar village. A village which doesn't have electicity, water, toilet etc. They live on what they have and rely on their animals and crops. They showed us how to make food from grains, how you made it to flour and so. We were shown some duties around the village and the house which was kinda cool to see and try. Us girl got to try the womans jobs, so we had wood and a huge bucket of water on our heads walking and it was so hard, we had maybe 2-4 liters/kilos and they usually have around 25-30kg or liters on their heads and i thought that was heavy and really hard to balance, man they got skills. Mostly we got showed around their home and they welcomed us with open arms. In one house they made alcohol, like really strong one. They said the % could not be measured cause it's so strong. Gosh i tried it and my whole mouth like burned away, everyone was couching and gosh i can't believe how they could drink that haha. You get so drunk easily from it also. Two volunteers bought it home haha. When we had tasted that, some kids made a dance show for us which was so cute. After a while they had danced they pulled me up to dance with them haha, they pulled me up 4 times so i guess they liked my dancing ;) it was so much fun and i think i sucked at it, they were so so good even the smallest kids. I bought a bracelet they had made which was super nice and they were really grateful for buying their craft cause they don't have much money at all. The way they live is amazing, they are so happy and grateful and my cheeks hurts now from smiling so much haha they gave so much joy and they have so little. We said bye and headed home, on the road there were a huge herd of elephants, around 10 just by our car and two of them crossed the road in front of our car just a meter away gosh that was impressive! They are so big and beautiful, i don't wanna meet one outside a car tho haha. When we came home it was time for dinner, we got Sadza which is what litterary every African eats if not one but several times a day. Its hard to explain what it is, it's maize, look it up ;) Then we just like every other evening, talked and chilled, some will watch a movie but im way too tired for that so bedtime for me now!
