This was my last day at Masuwe. Was such a beautiful morning with a stunning sunrise. Started the morning with a client walk with the VF's. Me and Katie met them up and when we got there George "catched" me and Fumi saw that and i think she thought he hurt me cause she walked straight up to me making these noises all the time and was so gentle. That was kinda cool to see acually. They were kinda lazy and it was so warm. We had a mud fight cause they thought i would be muddy on my last day x) After that we had brekkie and then a volunteer walk with the P's. We went to the little river where they played and it was such a nice last walk with blue skies, one of the best and funniest! Then i said goodbye to everyone and we went back to the lodge for lunch. Had a very short break and were then off to the orphanage. The kids were crazier than ever. We helped them with their lunch and played a bit. Then they danced and had speeches for us who would leav which was just so beautiful, and they sang a goodbye maddi song, gosh it was so sweet and i had to try hard not to cry. Im gonna miss those kids heaps, will never forget them. Then Monga from Masuwe picked us up to see Sylvester the cheetah. He is an orphan cheeta whose mum was killed and he was found in the bush, he could not be released back. People don't usually get to see him cause he is strictly non commercial but since Monga is friends with the handler we got like a VIP pass. We got to meet him and he was just so beautiful, i have never seen a cheetah and i didn't think they would look like that. We got to pet him and he licked my whole arm and almost licked my face aswell haha. His tongue was so "sharp" so my arm got all red haha. It was just so nice to see him and he do live a very good life, not in a cage but in a huge area which of course has fence around but is out in the national park. Then we went back to the lodge and walked to the Safari lodge to watch the sunset, spot animals from the waterhole and have a drink. After that we took a taxi home and had dinner then we played stump which is an american drinking game. Now im gonna sleep, today was such a great day, im gonna miss everyone at Masuwe so much, theyre like my family. My last full day tomorrow, some exciting stuff happening, can't wait! Now im off to bed :)
