Today we had a bit different morning, we went on a bush walk with Lima/Paul/Teddy (yes he has many names). A bush walk is litterary a walk in the bush where you get taught things, and these things differ from what you find, so we go out walking and if we find things we learn about them and explore. We started seeing some buffalo and hyena tracks, then some jackal faeces. But these tracks were days old so not much exciting ;) Saw some birds which i can't remember the name of now but something with "white eyebrow" and we got to learn how they build their nests to protect them from sun and wind! Saw some spiders with babies and cool webs. Then we found a strange cave which we explore and he didn't really know what it was xD We walked up a hill and he said he smelled animals? I didn't smell anything so he said he bet his last dollars theres animals nearby, i didn't believe him and i tried to smell but just seconds after we saw 4 Kudos closeby. So we started stalking them trying to get close which we did but they didn't let us come too close. They were so pretty! We walked a bit more and saw some weird looking graves or something, we didn't really know what it was. He thought someone veeeery long ago had lived there. He showed and taught us about nuts and trees, it was really great and you learned so much survival things and just random things about the bush. We headed back for brekkie and then went out with the P's. They were quite lazy cause they had been eating last night (they eat each 3rd day) so their tummies were really big and they were kinda in food coma ;) but it was a nice walk anyways and we had JB with us who knows so much about the lions, probaly the most out of everyone there. So he talked alot, we learned so much and we got to interact alot with the lions! :) We then went back for lunch and then Brilliant picked me, Elin and Hanna up for some game count, but this time we were just driving in the bush for 2-3 hours and wrote down what we saw. The first we saw were a pack of elephants just walking pass our car, meters away. We then saw warthog, babboons, mungos, impala, waterbuck, antelope. I really wanted to see a giraff but no luck. On our way back when my hopes were all gone we spotted two giraffes just by our car, omg i was thrilled!! So so amazing. We then went further and there was an elephant just behind our car so we stopped and looked, it was 3-4m away and just looked at us. It then charged at us and we all just screamed haha, im not joking we all almost peed our pants xD it was so scary! And to give you an idea, we were sitting high up on the roof of the car, no "wall" between us and the elephant, just an open car with nothing to hold on to nor hind behind, completely open. The elephant was just making these noises and attacked towards us, Elin was just screaming "GOOOO" haha it was hilarious. We sat all the way home laughing so much until we cried at this, our guide wasn't even scared and he just laughed at how scared we were. Will always remember looking back and seeing Elins panick face haha. Jikes haha. What an experience ;) Will never forget that! We then hurried getting ready to go out for dinner to The Boma. When we came there they greeted us with dance and put on clothes on us, painted our faces and were just really happy and nice. They showed us our table and explained the whole rutine, so its a buffee which has starter, maine and desert and you go yourself to take food. Whats special about this is that you get to eat crocodile, warthog, antelope, kudu etc. Which is really cool! The warthog was soooo amazing, sorry Pumba but youre delicious, best meat iv'e ever tasted x) You could also eat worms there, the mopani worm and get a certificate if you ate it, course we did, i had two of them acually ;) hahaha they werent that tasty but hey gotta try! We ate so much there, it was really expensive so i ate so much to compensate for that. They gave everyone drums and had this show and let us participate which was really fun and there was dancing and singing and we were just having a good time! We then took the taxi back home and now sleeeeep!! :)
