Cub feed
It was so warm and nice and we went to the lake so they played alot in the little waterfall, so cute! We then went back for brekkie and we got french toast with maple syrup and bacon!!! Omg first time i tried that and it was so yummy!! After brekkie i would give the cubs their vitamins, this you put in a chunk of meat and then give to the cubs in your hand, bu you gotta watch your fingers ;) We then had a lesson with snakes and spiders, where we went out in the bush looking for snakes and spiders and learning about them, we found some spiders and one snake so not that much, but it was too warm to walk around there and we had alot of fun with the guys ;) after that we had lunch and sunbathed a bit and just talked, then went to the store for some chocolate and icecream hehe. We then went back to Masuwe where i would do meatprep. Viti and Fumi eats 8kg of meat each and Pendo and Phezulu eats 5kg of meat each. They eat every third day. So we went down to the freezer where some meat was already put out to defreeze, it smelled like rotten egg and dead animals. Started by weighing some chunks to get the right amount and cut it a bit, then put it on the wheelbarrow and walked to the enclosures. First out was the P's, they are crazy about food, and so protective over it, as soon as they get it they just swallow chunks whole and growl and get really mad when you get close haha. We sat watching them eat a bit before we went to the VF's. They aren't as into food as the P's, they played with it a bit but werent that interested, they usually eat slow and in terms, but in the morning everything will be gone so they eat mostly during the night! I got meatjuice and blood splashed all over my legs and clothes x) We then went back to the lodge for dinner which was pizza!! Now we will maybe watch a movie, play games and just chill! Excited for the orphanage tomorrow :)
