Woke up very early today and slept very light, had weird and such real dreams about lion cubs haha. Wishful thinking hey x) Anyways, we went to Masuwe and the sun was so red and big, it was a beautiful sunrise. We came there and started off with a client walk with the P's, they hunted Kudu which was pretty cool to see. We then went back for brekkie and then we went for the dirty job - to clean the meat freezer. So we had to take out all the meat, weigh it and clean out the freezer. We counted it was almost a ton of meat that we carried out and in. It was so hot outside and the work was really hard but we had alot of fun and i got meat and blood all over me - fun x) Then we went back to the lodge for lunch and rest. After that we went to the Shearwater elephants who stay near Masuwe, there we would collect their poop cause they donated that to the garden of the old peoples home. So we came there and showed in poop while elephants were just looking at ut, so impressive. We got around 20 huge bags of poop haha. There was a huge male elephant there called Doma and we got to greet him and he was just so impressive and massive. Ive never seen an elephant that close when im on the ground so that was very breathtaking and it didn't seem real. Elephants are such a weird animal but so cute and just stunning. When we had loaded the truck we went to the old peoples home where we got greeted by the old lady who is 102 years old, yes 102!! She was so funny and cheeky haha. We basically just emptied all the bags in their garden, cuddled with the dogs and greeted the old people. Then we hurried back to the lodge cause volunteers from another project would come for dinner. Outside we had an open fire and we sat outside just talking. We had mexican dinner, so nacho chips, guacamoley, chili con carne and veggies was on the menue and it was soooo good. We just sat talking and made our own mojitos and enjoyed our dinner. Now they just left and im off to bed :)
